The Fox News survey interviewed 1,126 registered voters between May 10-13, with a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points. This aligns with a major poll from Gallup last year, which found 70% support for legalization among Americans.
Cannabis lobbyist and former GOP Maryland legislator Don Murphy even shared a picture of Fox News presenting a slide of the poll results, cautioning Republican lawmakers not to say “anything stupid today” about the Biden rescheduling move given the overwhelming popularity of legalization.
